HS wrestling finished 5th in CIF, SD as junior and 3rd as senior. Played at San Diego City College 1967, 1968. . .all-conference defense 1st team both seasons. Played at San Diego State defensive Line 1969. Sat out a year and played with his brother, Steve, at Cal Western.
