I gave my shoes to Jesse Murdock when I gave up football to concentrate on Baseball.  Sounds strange but they were very nice Addidas that not many people had.  Jesse went on to play for the Boston Patriots and was later killed in a car wreck.  The San Diego State game in 61 set a record for the most points scored at aztec bowl that stood until they turned it into the Basketball facility.
