Cal Western player Al Sanchez, defensive back, is having his high School football jersey retired from his high school in Orange County where he was named a three year high school All American. Al went to Fullerton JC and then transferred to CW. - October 2017

Magnolia High School on Friday October 13, 2017 will retire the No. 10 football jersey that Al Sanchez wore in the mid-1960s when he was an All-Orange County and All-America defensive back. The jersey retirement, only the fourth in Sentinels’ football history, will be part of homecoming festivities during Magnolia’s home game against Century at Western High.
